Albuquerque is easy to get to by plane, train or automobile. Major airlines serve Albuquerque's Sunport daily,and I-40, a transcontinental East-West highway, bisects the city. It is now Central Avenue, Albuquerque's "Main Street", and still harbors the retro array of neon for which Route 66 is known. The Nob Hill Commercial District is a not so much a neighborhood, as a corridor along historic Route 66 (Central Avenue) that is bounded on the west by Girard Blvd and University of New Mexico (UNM) and on the east by Washington Street. The corridor is just a tad wider than Central Avenue / Route 66, with boundaries to the north being Copper Avenue and to the south Silver Avenue.
